WELCOME TO MY WORLD
For a greater part of my not so happening life , I was always blaming people for all the things which went wrong , as far as I was concerned it had nothing or very little to do with me.
It was either my parents , the government , friends, blah! blah! blah! For my lack of success it was easy for me to blame “Apartheid”.
One day it hit me like a thunderstorm when I listened to this particular song by Michael Jackson, it was so amazing, just at that moment I knew that I had come face to face with my Moment of Truth.
These words echoed in my heart when I listened closer to the song…''I am starting with the man in the mirror, I am asking if he will change his ways”…” no message'' could have been any clearer, If you want to make this world a better place …take a look at yourself and make that change.
There and then I knew that the change which I wanted Had to come from within. I had just accepted that all the things which were not happening according to what I had envisaged had very little to do with people around me, but everything to do with how I lived my life everyday.
I had to re-look at my own life, my attitude , belief system, the words I used when I spoke, my habits and eventually my character and the confirmation was there, I was just a negative person and very cynical…that realization played a very important part in transforming me…I am sharing this with you because most of the time people have not yet been confronted by their Moments of truth, even if some have , they just find it too difficult and daunting to do anything about it.
I am encouraging you to look deep inside of you and understand that you have within you the capacity to enjoy a much more richer and fulfilling life.
